DDA PA accepts transactions from other financial systems, so
project-related data has to be entered only once. It allows
users to interface cost information from any accounting system
and link those costs to a project. The system is designed to
help minimize data entry and, in turn, the margin for error.
One primary value of DDA PA
is its versatility. It offers the flexibility to establish
multiple levels of organizational and accounting detail. Each
company can have its own unique organizational structure, set of
reports and processing rules. DDA PA can process multiple
companies or divisions individually or simultaneously.
DDA PA
PA allows users to establish independent budgets and controls
for all types of projects. If revisions need to be made to a
budget, DDA PA can accommodate up to nine different
versions of the budget. The system tracks actual expenses
against the budget to help keep the project on track.
DDA PA
includes powerful closeout capabilities to help ensure all costs
are accounted for, determine what items to capitalize and set up
fixed assets. To help simplify the asset translation process,
the system will perform any number of "trial translations." The
asset setup records are not produced until the translation is
approved. DDA PA retains a complete history of all
project data for future reference.
DDA PA
general ledger interface entries can be automatically created to
post expense and/or capital expenditures to their proper
accounts. By making simple table changes, the system can be
tailored to a particular accounting environment.
